This Summer

Do you have many events planned for this summer for your crew? Do you have any good ideas for others who might be searching for some way to keep the kids connected? Do you shut down for summer? Are you busy? Doing what sorts of things?

I think a way to keep the kid's connected over the summer is to have a newsletter sent to them. It doesn't have to be elaborate or too time consuming, maybe sent out every three weeks.
Something simple with maybe Catholic news (ex: updates and info on World Youth Day)
Highlights of what's happening at your specific parish
and maybe suggested Reading List or Websites for them to be connected to Catholic information.

Our parish has daily Mass @ 12:00 so we are having a Mass and Lunch bunch. How about a book club?
