I Don't Think That Means What You Think It Means
Heard just now on his radio show:
"I think I'll give up liberals for Lent" -Sean Hannity
Are you in youth ministry and you've had it with crazed parents? Rollin' your eyes at the pastoral council? Tired of administration work? Love youth? Love the Church? Appalled at parish politics? Looking for some good games? For a creative ways to teach a lesson for Religious Ed? Just need a place to veg out and say "phew! Someone outside of the parish to talk to!"? Grab y'r Starbucks, turn the computer away from the staff's eyes, grab a seat on a donated dusty couch and let it all go.

There is a great resource for stations of the Cross at Maryknoll, but I will admit it is a little outdated, so my confirmation students used these social justice stations as a template to create their own. We used things like the death of Tookie Williams, the torture of soldiers, the killing of baby girls in China as well as people like Mother Teresa, the Pope and Rosa Parks. Each student took a station and rewrote it for today. We will present it one Friday in Lent via a Power Point Projector for all the Parish. Between each station we are singing, Sanctuary...
Lord Prepare me, to be a Sanctuary, Pure and Holy, Tried and True. With Thanksgiving, we'll be a living Sanctuary for you.
Hope this helps.
