Totally Catholic Youth Ministers Lounge

Are you in youth ministry and you've had it with crazed parents? Rollin' your eyes at the pastoral council? Tired of administration work? Love youth? Love the Church? Appalled at parish politics? Looking for some good games? For a creative ways to teach a lesson for Religious Ed? Just need a place to veg out and say "phew! Someone outside of the parish to talk to!"? Grab y'r Starbucks, turn the computer away from the staff's eyes, grab a seat on a donated dusty couch and let it all go.

Why am I Catholic?

Totally awesome. Play this at your next staff meeting or confirmation meeting or RCIA or RCIC meeting or send to all your friends, Catholic and Protestant.

No offense to the Protestant crowd, but one of the reasons Catholicism resonates with the Truth *and* with us is because of its sacramental character. Each of the reasons given in this cool video was sacramental (has both temporal and transcendant qualities and acts as a bridge for us from this world to the unseen Reality of His kingdom) : the Eucharist, the Church, the sacraments, Marriage, and the Communion of Saints. I'm NEVER leavin' this Banquet, baby!

OK, so I've watched it several times now - it really is good. Anyone know where you can get that song on CD?

Changed my mind what I wanted to say: how do I post this video on my own weblog? Can I download it? I don't know how to use YouTube yet.

Anyways- totally awesome, I hope to use it at youth group sometime!
